Build: Strangely, considering their mother's height, Zia is rather small. However this is not to say that they are petite or fragile in any way. They have an athletic and nimble build. They can run long distances without issue and are deceptively strong despite their small stature.
Face: Zia has a round head with a muzzle of average length, They have slightly rounded ears tipped with pointed tufts of fur, like their mother.
Fur: Zia has mix of both their parent's fur type. The calico's fur is short, however it is plush and silky to the touch. Their cheeks and chest fur are fluffy and their tail is especially soft and feather-like. They keep their fur impeccably well groomed. Very rarely will they ever have a hair out of place.
Color: Zia's base coat is off white while the rest of their calico coloring is a mix of cream, brown, and gray, similar to Mothra. They sport the same pointed tabby pattern as the healer while also wearing light freckles on their face and flanks, just like Valente. Their ears and nose are a soft shade of pink. Rich, chocolate colored eyes complete the detective's look.
Voice: Zia's voice is feminine and pleasant. They speak with clear and concise diction. Think of the stereotypical customer service voice.

Winter 106
It appeared as though History was doomed to repeat itself as Valente had once again found himself staring down the barrel of fatherhood.
This time, the mother was Mothra, a headstrong healer from Light Tribe. The queen refused to raise their children alone however. She was able to quell Valente's anxieties and convinced him to play a part in their kitten's lives. The Earth Tribe tom wasn't going to squander his second chance at being a real father.
Unfortunately, Valente would never get the chance to raise his second litter. Just before the kits were about to be born, tragedy struck...
Judea, Valente's son from his previous accidental litter, spent most of his adulthood blaming his father's negligence for all his suffering. After losing his mother and siblings, the Pink-Void was left alone with nothing to do but to let his anger and desire for revenge fester and grow inside of him. Finally, it seemed that Judea's time for vengeance had come. After quite a bit of planning, The young tom murdered his father, leaving no one the wiser as to what happened.
Valente's death came as quite a shock to Mothra. She was now faced with having to raise her kittens alone. No. Not alone. She had the support of her adopted parents and her tribe. With their help, she was determined to raise her kits to be moral and upstanding citizens of the community. Badass single mom coming through!!!
Spring 107
Mothra teaches Zia a little bit about herbs and their uses.
Zia participates in the Light Tribe Bug Catching event and wins the Junior Tournament.
A scholar named Lestat teaches Zia how to read.
Zia enters the Light Tribe Festival Weasel Cart Battle. They partner up with an older kitten named Irie.
Despite their different temperaments, the two work incredibly well together. They beat their opponents in every round and walk away as champions of the Junior Tournament.
Zia considers Irie a friend.
Summer 107
Zia attends their first Gathering.
They spend most of the night with their sister Leora and meet a few of the kittens from other tribes, however their most notable interaction was with a White-Void named Percy.
They are put off by Percy's use of language and harsh honesty in such a public place. The two start arguing and Zia leaves with Leora once some of Percy's siblings come to her aide.
Zia and their siblings receive their tattoos. Zia is chosen by the Void Spirit.
Zia overhears Percy tell off a bully from her birth tribe and, with this newly acquired insight, realizes they may have misjudged her.
They go looking for Percy so they can apologize, but they come across her brother Irie first.
Irie tells Zia that his true name is Ischariot and Zia promises to visit him in Void Tribe as soon as possible.
Zia finds Percy and they talk things out. Percy that they shouldn't be so quick to judge and that they should stop being so concerned about what others think they should be.
Zia is upset by and unable to take this criticism at this time, but they respect Percy and her honesty.
Some time after the gathering, Zia encounters a black rose. The rose seems to broadcast the voices of cats that have recently gone missing. Tendrils emerge from the flower and try to grab at Zia but they manage to get away.
Zia joins Jazlyn and Scuff on their journey to Void Tribe to request the aide of the detectives in finding the missing Light Tribe cats.
Zia chooses to stay in Void Tribe for the next couple weeks and becomes good friends with Percy and the Headmaster, Maridiel.
Zia participates in the Lantern Festival and pays their respects to their father, Valente.
They win the Sand Castle Building Competition.
Fall 107
Zia is worried by Percy's strange behavior and graying tattoo.
Zia attends the Fall Gathering.
They finally ask Mothra about Valente and she tells them all she knows. Zia learns that their father died in a cave in but they don't know which cave it was.
Maridiel calls Amias out on his recent aggressive behavior. Zia is mortified.
Zia receives their true name, Abberline.
Cascada doesn't grant Zia's two sisters, Leora and Farrah, their true names. The Water Tribe totem melts into a puddle of goo.
Zia goes to sit by Percy and asks her how she's feeling.
Before she can respond, Absinthe appears. His followers tattoos turn completely black and goo begins to pour from their eyes and mouth.
Zia tries to help Percy but Mothra pulls them away.
Zia uncharacteristically disobeys their mother and runs off to find Percy again. Leora and their other sister, Uri, follow.
Zia meets up again with Percy, Maridiel, and Ischariot just before Demogorgan sets fire to the Meadow of Serenity. Maridiel leads the apprentices to safety and takes them to Earth Tribe.
A few days pass. Amias and a patrol of Void Tribers travel to Earth Tribe and demand that all Void-Tribers staying in Earth Tribe return home.
Maridiel defends the apprentices. Zia and Ischariot consider leaving camp before a fight breaks out.
Amias fights with Absinthe to regain control over his body. He passes out and the Void Tribe patrol retreats.
The tribes free the corrupted spirits, kill Demogorgan, and defeat Absinthe.
Winter 107
Zia returns to Void Tribe while Ischariot does not. They hope things will finally go back to normal and that they can officially start their training.
Zia is assigned Akatosh as their mentor, much to their dismay.
Dracarys incites a coup against Amias.
Zia does not attend the Winter Gathering.
Feeling a little lost, Zia is doing some soul-searching and is starting to question their gender.
Dracarys murders Amias but Kronus intervenes, leaving Amias badly injured with one life remaining
Zia and Akatosh find Amias while out training. Zia makes sure Amias is brought to Light Tribe where he can be healed.
Zia then returns to the scene of the crime and uses their powers to see what took place. The gory vision rattles them. They also learn that Dracarys has been exiled.
Jasper, an adolescent is chosen as the new Silver-Void.
Andromeda steps down as deputy and Evaline is chosen as the new Gold-Void.
A few days later, Zia along with a few other Void Tribe cats discover a small dragon-like creature that is able to create magic runes.
Zia and Percy share their concerns about Void Tribe and take turns comforting one another. Percy tells Zia they might be suffering from anxiety and they both agree to visit Light Tribe to receive help.
The detectives are asked to look into the murder of a cat from Water Tribe. Zia and the other detectives discover that Raiden was killed by a former Shadow Tribe cat and was later found by an Orange-Water who took the opportunity to frame Citlali. Both cats that had been involved in the crime had since left the tribelands however.
Zia is able to catch up with their sister, Cora while in Water Tribe.
Maridiel announces that he will be stepping down as Void Tribe's Headmaster. Zia is heartbroken by the news.
Three Void Tribe cats disappear but it is assumed that they left on their own accord. Zia grows more and more worried for their tribe's future.
Ischariot finds Percy and Zia and individually tells them that he is leaving the tribelands. Zia and Isch part ways on bad terms.
A hawk attacks Zia. Percy finds them passed out and takes them to Light Tribe.
The Winter season has left Zia feeling anxious and burnt out.
Spring 108
Zia attends the Spring Gathering with Akatosh, making sure their mentor stays out of trouble.
The pair meet Leggy and his brothers along with their adopted mother, Haria. Leggy is convinced Akatosh is his father even though Zia and Haria tell him otherwise.
Upon learning that Leggy will be coming to Void Tribe after tonight to train as a detective, Za decides to take him under their wing.
Percy and Maridiel find Zia. Percy tells them that they're planning on changing ranks to be a Chronicler while Maridiel is changing to Detective. Zia is overjoyed.
After the gathering, Leggy asks Zia if they can take a look inside the Observatory. Against their better judgement, Zia agrees. They ask Percy to join them.
Leggy stumbles upon the private writings of Kronus. Zia is too late to stop Leggy from reading it. In fact, Zia reads a bit of the scroll themselves. They feel horribly guilty afterwards.
At Jasper's request, Zia, Juno, and Leggy offer their services to Fire Tribe as a sign of good will.
It turns out a crime does indeed need to be solved. Apparently a Fire Triber has attacked an Earth Triber and burned down part of a forest by doing so. The detectives discover that the cat responsible is Haytham.
Void Tribers' tattoos start glitching so Zia and Leggy return home.
Kronus has disappeared!
One day while taking a walk near the Void Tribe border, Zia and Leggy run into Snivel who is accompanied by a large Null-Water. The Null-Water, named Toren, leaves but Zia is suspicious when Snivel tells them that Toren escorted him here without Haria's permission.
Zia contacts Haria. She arrives in Void Tribe to pick up snivel a couple hours later. She is furious and a horrible argument breaks out between her and Leggy. Zia is caught up in the middle and unsure of how to resolve the conflict.
Winged dinosaurs and an even larger pink dinosaur are spotted in Void Tribe territory.
Zia, along with many of their tribemates have dreams of multiple Kronus', all in in different colors. Kronus' soul seems to be fractured.
Jasper holds a tribe meeting to discuss what is to be done about Kronus and the dinosaurs. Apparently Leggy had confessed to the leader earlier that he had read Kronus's diary and fears that the spirit is now angry with all of them.
Zia steps forward and takes responsibility for reading the forbidden scrolls. Leggy is just a child, after all.
Jasper thanks Zia and leggy for their honesty but he believes there is more to Kronus' disappearance than just that. He asks his tribe to further investigate the dinosaurs and only use their powers when absolutely necessary until they are working properly once again.
Leggy dreams of Kronus and figures out that he is the monster that has been spotted on Void Tribe's territory.
He also finds Dragon's body and brings him back to camp. The Null's soul was taken by Kronus while the spirit was in his monster form.
Void tribe cats are temporarily able to use both skill branches.
Jasper enlists the help of Earth Tribe to aid Void Tribe is confronting the monstrous Kronus.
However, while the cats are going over their plan, Percy runs off to confront Kronus on her own.
Zia runs after her. Just as Kronus is about to attack, Zia tries to push Percy out of harms way but their attempt fails. The two adolescents are saved just in time by Nirvana.
The cats of Earth Tribe help to subdue Kronus while the Void Tribers use the skill Entanglement to communicate with him. Together, they are able to reach Kronus and begin the healing process.
Dragon's soul is returned to his body. Kronus insists that Void tribe give the Null a fair trial this time.
Summer 108
Juno steps down as Lieutenant. Zia is upset that she would abandon her responsibilities and her tribemates during this time.
Zia asks the former Lieutenant to give them an assessment of their detective abilities. They feel it is imperative that they graduate early.
Zia begins studying for their assessment. They're working themselves to the bone and losing sleep.
Percy confronts Zia about almost dying to protect her. The two have a heart to heart where they express how much they mean to each other. Zia also gives Percy a cloth cape as a graduation present.
While studying in the observatory, Zia finds an old case file about their father's death. Zia is horrified to discover that Valente's death could possibly have been murder and that it was their half brother who may have killed him. They decide to look into this further.
Zia guards Dragon for the time he is recovering in Void Tribe's camp. They have a tense conversation and Zia asks him if he knows anything about a cat named Ephemeris, a former detective that believed Valente had been murdered. It seems like Dragon knew quite well her well.
Dragon confesses that he had a vision of Valente being killed and confronted Judea about it but in the end, he did not stop him from carrying out his evil plan. In the subsequent investigation, Dragon didn't say anything about his encounter with Judea. Because of his inaction, Zia's father was killed and his murderer walked free.
Zia is disgusted by Dragon. The Null-Void demands that they let him leave as he can't stand it here any longer.
Eveline steps down as Deputy to be the tribe's General. Bari is named the new Deputy of Void Tribe.
There is a food shortage in Void Tribe. Cats are going hungry.
While trying their best to hunt, Zia discovers a tunnel heading towards the Wispfell Graveyard. They also find a strange talon-like appendage in the sand.
Some Void Tribe cats mysteriously vanish while out hunting.
Bari takes a search party to the Wispfell Graveyard to find the missing cats. On the way, Percy gifts Zia with a shortsword.
The party find several holes filled with rotting prey and unnaturally large larvae.
They encounter and defeat a pack of coyotes that were trying to eat Zhi-shi. Fenrir is also found. Arcadia is still missing.
While looking for Arcadia, the party is attacked by giant scarab beetles.
Arcadia joins the party and helps Void Tribe fight the beetles.
one of the party members, Elliot, uses his soulbond's fire powers to kill the remaining scarabs but in the process, the rest of the party is in danger of being caught up in the flames.
Luckily, Akatosh uses one of his skills to protect his tribemates. Zia is so proud of their mentor and considers him to be a hero.
Others are angry with Elliot. A fight breaks out between an elderly soldier and Fenrir. Elliot runs away in shame.
It is determined that consuming the flesh of Demogorgon is what caused the scarabs to mutate into such a large size.
Zia passes their detective assessment with flying colors.
Soon after, Zia is promoted to Lieutenant and Akatosh is made their advisor.
A Shadow Tribe apprentice goes missing and the detectives are asked to search for her. They find her on the edge of Void Tribe territory with Toren.
Zia tries to speak calmly with Toren but the Null is not having it.
With the use of her starstone, Bari accidently reveals that Toren is Leggy's father. Leggy doesn't seem to understand what she means, however.
Toren runs away. Bari instructs the detective not to follow since they have found Luna and that's what matters.
Zia is worried about Leggy and his siblings' safety.
Fall 108
Juno leaves Void Tribe to join Fire Tribe. Zia is tasked with carrying on Leggy's training.
Zia helps Akatosh uncover his past. They find out that Dragon was responsible for wiping Akatosh's memories.
Zia plays the role of prosecutor in Dragon's trial. The leaders decide to exile Dragon from the tribelands permanently.
Before he can be escorted out of the tribelands, Dragon runs to Highreach and frees Demogorgan with the intention of killing Absinthe.
Demogorgan betrays and kills Dragon. He retreats in order to heal, but vows to someday return and destroy the tribes.
Air Tribe requests the aid of detectives. Zia, Maridiel, and Leggy are tasked with finding who is responsible for attacking a Water Triber in Light Tribe's territory.
The detectives don't even need to investigate. Ruik confesses to the crime immediately.
Zia interrogates Ruik to learn the whole story. After the detectives get what they need, they return home.
When they arrive in Void Tribe, Zia learns that Percy is in Light Tribe after having collapsed in he middle of camp!

Zia is a model Tribe cat… Or at least that’s what they strive to be.
Growing up, they admired their mother more than anyone else in their life. The morals and good manners Mothra had instilled in her children are all things Zia had taken to heart. They continue to hold onto those ideals to this day. Zia is also very in tune with their environment. They watch, listen, and interpret. As a kit, they saw what a loving parent Mothra was, but they also noticed her reluctance to speak about their father and the hint of sadness behind her eyes whenever he was brought up. They could tell she was troubled, so they had reasoned that it was their duty to be a source of pride for their mother, and not another source of stress.
Zia is polite first and foremost; Always opting to use a cat’s full name or title (e.g. General, Silver-Void, etc.) and adamant about using their “please and thank yous." Zia is so preoccupied with keeping a cordial attitude that if they were to dislike you, it’s unlikely you'd ever find out about it. At the very worst, they might get a little passive-aggressive, but it would all be while wearing polite smile. It’s important to them that they keep up appearances, both social and physical. They like to keep things tidy and will routinely check to make sure their fur is perfectly groomed.
This self-imposed mission to be the perfect Tribe cat also leads them to be very obedient. Zia is eager to please, and they take a lot of pride in being able to do what is asked of them with extreme efficiency. They find comfort in the structure that the Tribe life provides and feel that living their life in accordance with and upholding the Laws of 7 is their purpose in life. There is nothing more terrifying to Zia than to be without a purpose. Consequently, they could have a serious crisis of identity if they were to ever question or go against the will of the spirits or their superiors. In fact, Zia has been struggling with this very issue ever since the Silver-Void was corrupted by the Null Spirit and later discovering that many Void-Tribers have lost their faith in the spirits and their Silver's ability to lead. It should be noted, however, that Zia will only obey those who they feel out-rank them. From a very young age, Zia has assumed they have moral superiority over most of the cats they have come across.
Zia clearly has strong feelings about following the rules, and that can sometimes be to their detriment. Not only in the sense that it compromises their ability to make their own decisions, but that it affects the way they perceive others. Zia has a rigid set of beliefs on how people should carry themselves and treat those around them. They’re too polite to say anything out loud, of course, but when someone doesn’t live up to their standards, Zia instinctually thinks much less of them and will avoid them if possible. It’s very hard to change Zia’s opinion of someone once they have passed judgment on them.
In recent months, Zia has become more patient and open-minded towards others... But only slightly.
Zia is very clever. To be honest, they're a bit of a know-it-all. They’re curious about how the world and the individuals living there work. Being as intuitive as they are, it’s easy for them to connect the dots and make educated guesses on things. Zia doesn’t like things to be kept a mystery, which is a nice way of saying they’re incredibly nosy. Zia is oftentimes too curious for their own good and their obsession with getting to the truth may lead to some unpleasant interactions with people. Most of the time, however, they use their sleuthing powers for good. Zia is a particularly good “finder.” They will usually be the first to volunteer to track someone/thing down and do very well in their role as a detective.
It’s clear that Zia is a very task oriented individual. Once they have a goal placed in front of them, they’ll stop at nothing to achieve that goal. Their ability to accomplish a mission is how they measure their self worth... And it’s this way of thinking that makes them prone to self-sacrifice. They will put themselves in danger if that’s what it takes to complete their task. The ends will justify the means, surely.

Nightkit licked his paw and raised it above his head, slicking back a stray tuft of fur for a cleaner, more professional look. He had to be extra well groomed today. Noiseflame wouldn't trust the future of Highclan to a cat who couldn't even keep his fur clean. He had to make a good impression. This had to go well... Otherwise he'd be spending the rest of his days training in the mud and risking his life in pointless battles, protecting cats he didn't care about. Even if he managed to survive all the fights, he was sure to be scarred beyond recognition by the time he retired.

He would rather die than become a warrior. That was why today was so important. If he was to have any chance at becoming the next Medicine Cat of Highclan, he would have to start building his relationship with Noiseflame now.
"Marigold for infection... Thyme for shock..." Nightkit went over the herbs while he finished washing up. For weeks now, the young tabby had been expanding his knowledge of medicine with his mother. He knew many of them by heart now. Add that to that fact that being a Medicine Cat was in his blood, and the kit was a shoe-in for the position of Noiseflame's Apprentice. All he had to do was get the tom's attention, and the rest would fall into place.
After running a wet paw over his whiskers one last time, Nightkit marched over to the Medicine Cat den. He pressed himself against the stone wall as he neared the entrance and cautiously peered inside. the dark tabby delighted in the sharp scent of mixed herbs that filled his nostrils. Noiseflame was such a lucky furball. His den smelled way better than the nursery. It was probably much cleaner too. Nightkit smiled to himself as he mused over one day living amongst those herbs, being free to sharpen his mind instead of his claws.
"Hello? Noiseflame?" The ambitious kit called in a voice lower than what was natural for him. He was trying his best to mimic Talonstar's strong and commanding tone, hoping to convince the Medicine Cat that he was worth listening to.
